A small local consultant who is passionate about the benefits of the "Tool Kit" that was being promoted for use in colleges, had tried to telemarket herself and through an outsource provider in the past. Unfortunately, neither had had a great deal of success.

Therefore, it was with some trepidation that she agreed to discuss her requirements with My Marketing. Having met Yvette on several networking events, there was a glimmer of belief in the ability of employing a professional telemarketing company.

As a result, a project was agreed initially for 5 days over 3 months. From the original client brief, My Marketing developed an effect schedule and drove the programme forward.

Initial cold calls supplied the campaign with the correct point of contact and the best time to call. When the government cutbacks were announced and immediate focus on those colleges with a confirmed interest was agreed to maintain the relationship without being intrusive.

From a difficult situation 5 very positive opportunities were gained for the clients “Taster Session”. These well received events lead to potential sales, with known associates within the world of academia.

Needless to say, from a negative perspective of telemarketing, a positive outcome from the work of My Marketing has restored faith.
